Overview & Reviews
A new grille design and chrome exterior door handles distinguish the 2008 Lexus RX 350 from last year's model. In addition, there's a new graphite-finish 18-inch wheel design on the options list, and in models with a gray interior, you'll find black bird's eye maple trim.
- High-grade cabin furnishings, luxury sedan ride, user-friendly high-tech features, rock-solid reliability history, excellent dealer service.
- Soft suspension tuning makes for merely acceptable handling, no third-row seat option, pricey option packages.

A tad disappointed - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By tammy - March 3 - 2:53 amI leased a new RX 350 a month ago as my ES 330 lease expired. I needed more room and at a minimum fold down seats. The IS was the only model with fold downs and that was too small. Room is great - feels spacious inside- kids have a lot of room in the back. Got an annoying dash vibration noise in a week and I do hope that can be fixed - very annoying. Feel that the road noise is quite high. Handling is excellent - very good acceleration and fit is finish is superb.

Love This Car.. Hate the Tires!!! - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By ronny c - August 3 - 4:30 pmThis car is a dream to own. Everything about it exudes class and refinement except the tires. They are very noisy. I dont experience any wind noise but a lot of tire noise at highway speed. Around town it is a gem. Very good acceleration for an SUV. When the time comes a difeerent set of tires will be put in their place

Gold standard of SUVs - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By insuranceguy - July 20 - 5:23 pmI am on the road a lot and appreciate how quiet this vehicle really is. The cabin is so quiet I actually look forward to talking on the cell phone over the cars blue tooth. I have owned Hondas and Toyotas in the past so appreciate the level of build quality that went into the RX. I have near 15k and not one single problem. I average around 21 in the city, 27 on the highway. In summary, Lexus RX 350 is the gold standard of SUVs.

Even Better in 2008 - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By Sean - July 3 - 1:16 amThis is my second RX. Just traded in the 04 model and Im blown away with all the upgrades. Clearly there were focus groups held and Toyota/Lexus listened! Better acceleration/power, better fuel economy, and all the right upgrades to the navigation system. I bought again based primarily on the RXs proven track record for reliability, no test drive, no haggling, and I was blown away when I sent to pick up the car. Everything on my wish list from the 04 was delivered.

$45K Tin Box - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By mikefoley9 - February 8 - 8:56 amI have 1500 miles on the car. I traded a BMW for this "tin box". Do not believe Consumer Reports about how great the car is. It is very light bodied with a lot of road noise, sloppy steering. Lexus Quiet!!! This car has a lot of noise. I will be trading for a BMW or Benz in the spring. Do not be fooled. Drive a BMW or Benz before you purchase a RX350. Yes, it is just a dressed up Toyota for 10K more. The RX350 compares to a Ford or Chevy not a BMW or Benz. The only saving grace is the dealer service and the fuel economy is great. I did have two small problems that have been corrected.

Great Value - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By Quality Ride - November 6 - 5:03 amMy RX has 2200 miles on it and I must say I am very pleased. I traded a BMW for the RX. The ride is smooth and the handling is good for an SUV. The RX is so quiet, more quiet than my BMW or my wifes Jaguar! The AWD is great. I drove the BMW X5 and MB M Class, and both were $12-$15K more. The Lexus should prove to be a great value!

The best SUV in its class!! - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By Uzbek - October 21 - 11:50 amAbsolutely love it! Test drove BMW X5 and MB ML class, but Lexus is much better. It gives that exceptional feeling of being the man who spends money wisely, but gets the best out of it. Inside this car, you feel yourself pampered and mainly safe due to its safety features. Moreover, gas mileage, exterior design, true price to own is the best. I can go on forever here folks, but this is the best SUV for your money!
